HGP was established in 1990 by ELSI,Ethical,Legal,Social Implications. It  is to foster basic ELSI of genetic genomic research for individuals,families and communities.

Benefits of Human Genome Project (HGP) :

1) Knowledge of the effects of DNA among individuals can revolutionize the ways to diagnose, treat and even prevent a number of diseases that affects the human beings.


2) It provides clues to the understanding of human biology.

In our opinion, the HGP is a useful project because it can cure diseases that affects human being that is sick or disable. I hope that in the future human being will have a better life. =)
