The Genome Project (HGP) is and international scientific research project with a primary goal of determining the sequence of chemical base pairs which make up DNA and to identify and map the approximately 20,000-25,000 genes of the human genome from both a physical and functional standpoint. It began in 1990 and was headed by Ari Patrinos. It remains one of the largest single investigative projects in modern science. Genomics research are already having a major impact on research across life sciences.Technology and resources promoted by the HGP are starting to have profound impacts on biomedical research and promise to revolutionize the wider spectrum of biological research and clinical medicine. I think that HGP is very useful and great :)
Waah , hehehe .
